SMAN 1 WAY KHILAU didirikan pada tanggal 20 April 2012 dengan Nomor SK Pendirian 106.A\/III.01\/HK\/2012 yang berada dalam naungan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan. Dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, dibimbing oleh guru-guru yang profesional di bidangnya. Kepala Sekolah SMAN 1 WAY KHILAU saat ini adalah Rasiman <\/p>\n<p>Dengan adanya keberadaan SMAN 1 WAY KHILAU, diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam mencerdaskan anak bangsa di wilayah Kec. Way Khilau, Kab.
